The Brain, Language, and Bilingualism Lab is a joint lab directed by Dr. Eleonora Rossi and Dr. Edith Kaan. Our research topics range from adult language learning to syntactic priming and even bilingual speaker code-switching! Most importantly though, we all ask the crucial question: How and What does the brain do to make Language possible?

To investigate these questions we use a number of approaches including neuroimaging techniques such as EEG, and behavioral techniques such as accuracy and reaction time measures. Please check out the People page to see what everyone is interested in and see
our Publications and Conferences page to see the latest work from members of the lab. If you are an undergraduate interested in this type of research, please feel free to reach out to learn more about how you can make research in BLaB part of your UF experience.
